TRAIAL takes your privacy seriously. TRAIAL is committed to process any personal information we collect (hereafter generally referred to as information) in full transparency, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, notably the Federal Data Protection Act of 19 June 1992, so as to ensure the accuracy, confidentiality and security of your information.
This privacy notice applies to the information TRAIAL collect from you as a user or legal provider prior to the official launch of TRAIAL.
This privacy notice is dated 18 April 2018. It will be modified upon the official launch of TRAIAL.
Personal information is any information that can enable the identification of an individual. Information may, as such, enable your identification (like your first and last names, email address or social security number), or may enable such identification and provide information when combined with one another (such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address). In so far as any such information enable to identify you as a person, whether taken separately or combined with one another, it shall be considered as personal information.
Information that TRAIAL collect during this pre-launch phase only consist of the following information that you voluntarily submit to us:
Prior to the official launch of TRAIAL, such information will only be collected in order to enable us to be aware of your interest in TRAIAL and inform you of the official launch of our platform, at the exclusion of any other purpose.
TRAIAL will not share your information with any third party other than for storage purposes (see section 5 below).
Information collected by TRAIAL is stored and processed through AWS in Ireland, a country considered by the Swiss and European Union relevant authorities as having an adequate level of protection with regards to data protection.
TRAIAL is committed to protecting the security of your personal information so as to prevent it from unauthorized access, use, modification or disclosure. To that effect, TRAIAL has decided to work with one of the major and most secured player in this field, namely AWS, whose security credentials can be found out here.
TRAIAL retains your personal information only for as long as it believes is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the personal information was collected, usually for the duration of your account and affiliation to TRAIAL and for any period thereafter as legally required or permitted by applicable law (including, for the purpose of meeting any legal, accounting or other reporting and regulatory requirements or obligations). Should you decide at the official launch of TRAIAL not to create an account, your information will be deleted within 30 days after one reminder.
TRAIAL may, instead of destroying or erasing your personal information, make it anonymous such that it cannot be associated with or tracked back to you.
